This website ("website") is operated by Metro Fire Equipment Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Metro", which includes Metro stores, and Metro private sales . This privacy policy only covers information collected at this website, and does not cover any information collected offline by Metro. All Metro websites are covered by this privacy policy.
Metro Fire + Security
Personal information provided on the website and online credit card transactions are transmitted through a secure server. We are committed to handling your personal information with industry-accepted standards of information security. We take appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of personally identifiable information we collect, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers, as well as employing electronic security systems and password protections that guard against unauthorized access.
Our website uses encryption technology, like Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), to protect your personal information during data transport. SSL encrypts ordering information such as your name, address, and credit card number. The internet is not a 100% secure environment, and therefore Metro cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered to be a secure means of transmitting credit card information.
Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority with the ability to enter into contracts in the jurisdiction where you are located to use the site . By using the site, you represent and warrant that: (a) all information you submit during Account registration is true, complete, and accurate; and (b) you agree to maintain the accuracy of such information each time you use the Site. Your profile and Account may be terminated and deleted without warning if we believe that you are under the age required to legally contract in the jurisdiction where you are located.
Account & Registration
You must set up a user account to use certain features of the Site ("Account"), such as when you register for a shopping account. You will need to provide a password, username, and other information such as your name and email address. You are solely responsible for keeping your Account information secure and confidential at all times. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or sublicense your Account to any third party. You are solely responsible for all usage or activity on the Site that occurs under your Account, including, but not limited to, use of the Site by any person who uses your Account, with or without authorization. You agree to notify Metro immediately of any unauthorized use or any other breach of security on your Account. Metro will not be liable for losses incurred as a result of an unauthorized use of a password or account. Personal information submitted through the Site is governed according to Metro’s Privacy Policy.
Shipping & Returns
All shipping will be done as selected by you the customer when adding the product to be purchased from the Site and be governed by the Shipping & Returns section of the Site.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery. We cannot accept returns of opened, installed, or modified products. We can only accept returns of products purchased directly from Metro Fire + Security either online or by Will Call.
Purchasers will receive a full refund, minus a restocking fee of 25% of the returned product(s) price, per return. If the product is defective or if a shipped unit does not match the ordered unit, you will receive a full refund with no restocking fee when the claim is verified. We will pay for shipping on returns if the product is defective or shipped in error.
Refunds can take up to 30 days after shipping a return to us. This period includes transit, processing, and the time it takes your bank to process the refund request.
If you need to return an item, please email us at shop.support@metrofireandsecurity.com with your order number, reason for the return, and details about the product you would like to return.
Product Information
The prices displayed on our Site may differ from prices that are available with other vendors. The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in U.S. dollars, unless otherwise indicated.
Metro does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information on the Site, including prices, product images, specifications, and/or availability. Metro reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). If you do not wish to continue your purchase after pricing or other information has been corrected, please contact Metro immediately.
Online Account Registration
To make online shopping faster and easier, you may register on the Metro website. As a registered customer, you only have to enter your shipping addresses and billing information once; they will be securely stored with us for your future use. Using your name and a password of your choice, you may access your account online at any time to add, delete, or change information. If you are using a public computer, we strongly encourage you to sign out when you finish shopping. Your information will still be stored with us but it will not be accessible to anyone else from that computer.
Emails
You will receive promotional emails from us only if you have asked to receive them. If you do not want to receive email from Metro or its affiliates you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email communication sent by us. Please allow us 3 business days from when the request was received to complete the removal, as some of our promotions may already have been in process before you submitted your request.

Payment; Credit for Refunds
Only valid credit cards or other payment method acceptable to us may be used and all refunds will be credited to the same card or, in our discretion, other payment method. By submitting your order, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated card or payment method and you authorize us to charge your order (including taxes, shipping, handling and any other amounts described on the Sites) to that card or other payment method. If the card (or other payment method) cannot be verified, is invalid, or is not otherwise acceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically.
Complaints and Legal Notices
All complaints and legal notices should be mailed to Metro, Attn: Legal Department, 63 E Hamilton Pl, Gilbert AZ 85233. If a law requires us to accept legal notices via email, call 480-464-0509 to ask for the address intended for receipt of such notices. Knox Rapid Access Product Purchases
Purchasers bear full responsibility for verifying and confirming that any order, product, and its selections comply with local codes, the requirements of the Fire Department and/or Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and relevant specifications, where the Knox Rapid Access product will be installed. Furthermore, purchasers are entirely accountable for the accurate selection of the appropriate Fire Department, AHJ, Police/Sheriff Department, or agency related to their orders. Knox Boxes will be keyed according to the Fire Department / AHJ chosen by the purchaser.
Metro Fire+Security assumes no responsibility and offers no guarantees regarding the accuracy of customer orders in relation to local Fire Department / AHJ selections, product models, and product options. Metro Fire+Security disclaims any liability for products purchased that may or may not meet the specific needs of the purchaser. Should the ordered products fail to align with local Fire Department / AHJ codes, selection requirements, or quantities, the obligation to address and resolve such issues lies solely with the purchaser. Metro Fire+Security does not provide any statements, warranties, or assurances regarding the rectification of inaccuracies arising from purchaser selections.
Some Emergency Response Agencies require pre-authorization of your order prior to the sale. You'll need to first obtain a Knox Authorization Order form from the public safety agency that will respond to the location where you plan to install the Knox Product. An authorized signer must sign the form and all sections must be completed.
